3. I agree this is not good for college sports

But the current system is a horrible violation of the students’ rights.
If you were one of the best college Computer programmers, artists, musicians, math prodigies, etc., and a company wanted to hire you while you were still in school, or even help fund your studies hoping to hire you later, everyone would say that was great. Athletes are the only college students who are forbidden from making money (or letting someone buy them a fast food meal), and that occurs while they are making billions for their colleges.
