As a victim of extreme bullying when he was young, Harlan Ellison didn't take $HIT from anyone.

The "Gopher Story" video posted above only comes close to telling the actual gopher story.
Ellison's short story about this is titled: "Driving in the Spikes" and it tells "the rest of the story."
