Everything was Imperial. Probably not in science.
Moved to the US where things were somewhat close to imperial.
Now in Europe. Everything is metric.
My cooking is a collection of units. But normally it is metric. I use a cup in a recipe to mean 250 ml. A pound of x means 500 grams.
You learn quick.
