Just finished FOXFIRE by Anya Seton. (Not Firefox, FOXFIRE). Published a long time ago [View all]

1950's I think.

The novels takes place in the early 1930's, and deals with a rich young NY woman whose family has lost a lot in the crash.
She marries a mining engineer and moves to a small AZ town with him.

Her husband has some interpersonal difficulties at the mine, and ultimately the couple go looking for gold. Toward the end,
I couldn't put the book down; I had to know what happened.

Anya Seton has written some other good stuff too. KATHERINE, one I've read, is a historical novel (14th Century) which is quite good.
