4. I liked it so much I got "A Moveable Feast" out of the library and read that.

Hemingway really regretted losing Hadley over his affair with Pauline. He said in the closing pages of the book "I wish I had died before loving anyone but her." And, of course, just a couple of years later he blew his brains out...
