I just finished listening to TWELVE SHARP by Janet Evanovich. I have a question. [View all]

Mary, who went to work at Vinny’s bonding agency, seemed sort of “hinky” to Stephanie and Lula. Was she really a cop? What was the secret about her?

(I must’ve missed the part where the author revealed this. Could have been because some of the CD’s skipped, could’ve been my mind was wandering.)
