2. I enjoyed the book,

and I didn't feel as if I have wasted my time reading it. I even suggested it to others, and I rarely do that....but I rarely find a book that I find good enough to have bothered and don't want to subject others to it.

I also saw the movie, and was surprised to have enjoyed it too, but it was so much less than the book. And having read the book, I felt that I was at an advantage since they skimmed over so much that the book covered.

So I suggest it as worth your time if you enjoy reading.
