2. We, as a US Nation have been horrible to Native Americans

They don't refer to it as the "Trail of Tears" for no reason. Through our arrogant thoughts that we white people were better than and more intelligent than those "red savages" we did some absolutely heinous things. We rounded up Native Americans and marched them off THIER lands to reservations in the middle of deserts with the poorest lands for farming and hunting while taking their fertile lands for ours.

Then, for some reason we were surprised when some of them revolted.

The Native Americans were not perfect I'm sure and I'm sure they waged bloody wars between tribes. However, they did seem to live in harmony with their environment much better than we "superior" whites have done.
