My african american dad's great grandfather came from there. Lived to be 107 - so my dad got a lot of time with him. People would chuckle at his Irish and Scottish prayers, toasts, and tales of Fae when we were little kids. That ancestor's father was an Irish man and his mother was a Scot (Aberdeen) - so this 'black American' family has deep ties and affinity towards their Celtic roots.

Go Republic of Ireland Go!!!!!
