I made it a point to get the vaccines as they came out. I had some reaction to the two shot vaccine, well worth avoiding shingles. Shingles and chicken pox are caused by a herpes type virus. So a diet high in lysine (fish, dairy…) and low in arginine (many nuts, not all, chocolate …) can help suppress the virus. You can look up the recommended foods for this in more detail.
