I see where you got all the best of your outlook on life, TEB. And your talent for written words!

Thank you for sharing such a personal story about your father.

My husband has a collection of letters that his dad sent home when he was in the Philippines in WW2. He tears up reading them, too ( although I think for the sake of not upsetting his family too much they were somewhat sanitized). Is it too much to hope we’ll never create another war veteran?
