I have a display case with my Dad's medals and awards from WWII. Along with his Bronze Star is a badge with an antique rifle surrounded by a wreath (no stars). I thought it was the Combat Infantry Badge but maybe not. In any case thank you for your williness to serve. I am in the middle of 5 generations of veterans. We have served in the Navy, Marines, Army and Air Force. I guess we've covered all branches since they moved the Coast Guard to Homeland Security. Maybe one of my grandsons or daughters will join the Coast Guard so we can have a complete set.
