Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. What an incredible human being. It's heartbreaking that he was not honored as he should have been at the time. How many more heroes of color have been glossed over by the racism that averts the eyes to the facts that can't be blinded by racism's status quo vision of valor as a white male trait.

His amazing, superhero in real life story, needs to be told, he deserves the highest honors, as he is due.

It's wrong and disgraceful, that he and others who fought for our democracy and the well being of so many fellow soldiers and must end, if we truly ever want liberty and justice for all.
