Three talking points from the NRA’s major convention in Louisville [View all]

Several local politicians threw their weight behind the Second Amendment Friday at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Louisville.

Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and U.S. Sen. Rand Paul spoke as part of the gun-advocacy and sportsmen organization’s Leadership Forum, held in the red, white and blue-lit Freedom Hall at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump also spoke Friday and received the NRA’s endorsement, as we’ve previously reported.
