And when will a petition or letters to the editor or your gov reps or to the NRA and NSSF demanding they pressure congress to pass this?

Considering that a bill like this hasn't even been proposed, either at the state or federal level, what is it exactly that I'm supposed to be demanding? I've already written many letters to representatives at the state level, opposing useless legislation and encouraging gun safety training in schools. I'm also certified to teach these classes, and have taught them pro bono for local gun clubs.

Is that what you "thought"?

If you feel like advocating for the federal legislation -- which, by the way, was your idea in the first place -- then go right ahead.
