The threat posed by the woman could have come by way of her car or a knife.

There IS just the slightest possibility that the OP is trying to link gun-owners -- esp here in DU, given the group posting he/she chose -- with racist actions. If that is the case, this group is inappropriate. Please note the OP'S title.
