1. So now they want to politicize agencies who might want to stop opiate dependency

By replaying Nixon era racist and ageist policies. I suppose they prefer old school Glen Beck’s getting hooked on easily addictive opiates when injured and raving about reefer madness. Nice way to step in it. Don’t let the karma smack you on your way out…



Some of us don’t mind laying off as needed but when you have medical conditions or pain and don’t use it on the job and can maintain professionalism there’s no good reason to forbid it, this is damaging to the hiring pool and current employees. The 90 day abstention policy is already too steep for the more understanding groups.

Count me disgusted.

At least they have discretion to not care about that sabotage. I figure they can find a way around this line item objection on the bill passage at some point too or in a near future bill.
