because Nixon ignored the DEA counsel's recommendation to decriminalize because he wanted to be able to punish political enemies. This is no basis for sound law.

because marijuana prohibition is a violation of civil rights and is the prime example of the racist application of the law in America.

because the war on cannabis is a waste of taxpayer dollars.

because Reagan's War on Drugs was an excuse to illegally fund terrorists.

I just have to assume that anyone who favors criminalization of marijuana, at this point, is a tool or an idiot.
