I just ordered God's Chinese Son, along with The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom by Reilly and The Taiping Revolutionary Movement by Jen Yu-wen.

I have only three works on Chinese history so this will double that segment of my library.

Looks like I'll have some reading ahead of me after the new year.

Are you familiar with either of the two latter works?
