I seem to have acquired another cat (maybe) [View all]

There is this good-sized tuxie boy hanging around. Josie seems to like him. (Meg doesn't, but she hates every other cat, so I discount her opinion anyway.) I have a sneaking suspicion that he and Josie may be sleeping curled up together in the woodpile in this cold weather because he is often at the back of the woodpile when I go out to feed them in the morning and looks like he just went there. He looks at me when I talk to him but won't come any closer than that. However, as soon as I put the food down and go in, he'll come out to eat---and he knows which dish is his. I've named him Napoleon (to go with Josephine, which is Josie's official name) but I mostly just call him Bruh. I'd love to catch/trap him and get him to the vet for a once-over and neutering but that will have to wait until I get back from my vacation, most likely. Part of the reason is that he seems to be limping and I don't know the cause. Also, with my luck, he'll be FIV+. Oh well, for right now I'll just feed him and try to get him to come a little closer.
