An animal rescue group took the ten in and eventually Shadow was cared for by a foster mom, with whom we arranged adoption. We learned of her genetic make-up. She's
1/4 Border Collie, 1/2 Blue Heeler, plus parts Husky, Golden Retriever and Austrian White Shepard.

We took her home at eight weeks old. We called her Shadow because she followed at our heels wherever we walked. The foster mom gave us this picture of Shadow and the nine other puppies. Shadow's in front at the edge of the bed.


You're right, she does have amazing markings and eye color. She is also the best dog I've ever known. Shadow has given us more than eight years of joy.
