...in the house that is theirs and theirs alone. Men often have either the garage or some other space devoted to their interests, but not those of us on the distaff side.

My husband has about half of our basement devoted to his hobby of building models - mostly airplanes, but occasional armor and sci-fi. Part of it is a finished off workshop, and the rest is storage of unbuilt kits still in their boxes. I tell him that if I had as much space for my "hobby" of dressing well, I could have all my stuff in one place instead of throughout most of the closets in the house -
