The vet considered prescribing Royal Canin renal food but it wouldn't be good for my other cat, Holly. They already eat Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein for Holly's issues. I feel the way you do, I would never put Martini through any procedures that would make life difficult for her. I'm all about quality of life. And seeing as how, except for her thinness and not running up and down the stairs anymore, she's still my sweet, loving, playful Martini, I will keep on loving and spoiling her her for the time we have left.
