She knocks the ball off the arm of the couch and I go get it and bring it back to her so she knock it off and I can go get it again and so on and so on.

Merlin is the sweetest little wizard in the world, although I imagine he's not so little anymore. What a treasure he is! All your kid cats are treasures and I'm so glad you've taken us along on your journey with them!
