We came home and I opened the door to her carrier but she refused to come out. So I just set the carrier in the middle of the kitchen floor and then went and laid on the couch to watch TV. After a couple of hours out of the corner of my eye I noticed that she was now sitting on the living room rug and was stock still and staring at me. I made no move other than to turn my head slightly to look at her. The minute we locked eyes she gave me a nasty look, a long growl and a hiss. I spoke to her without moving and she repeated the look, growl and hiss. Then she stood and turned her back on me as she slowly walked to the bedroom and disappeared under the bed for the next 24 hours. I realized then that I had been summarily cussed out and denigrated and warned.
