10. Four times a day

I go out and check plants four times a day in this heat. I carry a watering container and refresh anyone who looks like they need a cool drink.

In addition, I've gotten out my collection of screens. I put them out to help shield from the sun:

Bean trellis. Newly planted heritage pole beans are given a break from the sun.
