The fence is three decades old, so it requires repair every Spring. You can see doubled up 2x3s or post repairs in some photos. Replacing posts in the uplands of Connecticut just sucks - there is stone everywhere under the ground.


Rabbits get in, but don't tend to munch on my garden since I've seeded much of my back yard with clover. My main pests are squirrels, who dig holes everywhere. Then there is the annual contest to see who realizes the sweet corn is ready first, me or the raccoons.
