New Jersey was always an adventure in eating + the food was indescribably delicious -- world cuisine in a nutshell...

Looking at my cookbooks, I'm well on the way to collecting one from every state...Which gives me an idea
for celebrating America's 250th birthday... With 52 weeks in a year + 50 states + 14 territories... I may try
sampling a week's worth of dishes from each state + Washington, DC + / or Puerto Rico, American Samoa,
Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands + the US Virgin Islands.

The Food Network has "The United Plates of America". Their list of America's iconic foods is found here:
https://www.foodnetwork.com/restaurants/packages/best-food-in-america/photos/most-iconic-food-united-states

The website Taste of Home has this list:
https://www.tasteofhome.com/collection/the-official-food-of-every-state/

This will be fun (while the luxury of eating remains affordable)...
