I grew up in eastern Iowa and every spring, we’d go tromp in the woods and come home with garbage bags of them (each of us!)

Ever since I moved to FL (over 30 years ago?), I’ve been starved for them—until I discovered a good mail order place. For those similarly deprived, I highly recommend Forest Glory. They usually have a sale. I usually get 6 canisters (about the size of a soda can) of dried small morels/pieces for around $35 or so, and I dive into one every time the yearning gets too much to ignore.

This might be the biggest thing I really miss about the Midwest. Yum.
