6. My Grandfather was buried without a marker when I was a kid...

all I could remember was the town I thought he was buried in. My mom was the only living child & she had Alzheimers. So I looked on line for all the cemeteries in that town and started calling them one by one. I did find out which one he was buried in that way.

I don't know what else you can do if you don't know the town. Here's wishing you luck in your search!
