I use Febreze Pet Odor Eliminator or Febreze Air Effects Mint & Refresh. Either one works splendidly.

The other types of Febreze have an unbelievably long-lasting strong aroma that never seems to dissipate. But the above two seem to lightly scent the air momentarily, and all smoking odors are gone gone gone... as well as cooking odors, pet odors, etc.
