6. I never had a fever and I never had anything below my head.

It has all been sinuses and body aches. (And that damned crick in my neck.) Never even really had any crud buildup.

It has been rather mild, except for the loss of smell and taste. I feel completely vulnerable without them. All of my senses are now reduced. Neuropathy has taken my sense of touch. Diabetes has ruined my eyes (I used to have 20/15 in each eye). Now I have only my hearing, which, as a former rock musician/singer, suffered even though I tried to protect it.

A bee sting could take me out and I would never see or hear it coming, and probably wouldn't even feel it until it was all over. What kind of a life is this for someone who loves the outdoors and doing things? (Hint: it isn't one.)
