Anybody else using a Navage for chronic sinus infection? [View all]

I bought one on the "you might want to try it; other than (more) surgery I don't have much to offer you" recommendation of my ENT. It's like a neti pot with suction, and I think it might be helping. I am having trouble using it the way you're supposed to, though, and I wondered if anyone had any tips for me. I've watched youtube videos, which haven't helped much. My problem is that I can't get the right "seal" to make it a closed system. I always have a lot of salt water running down my throat instead of into the collection module, and it causes an unpleasant sensation of choking. I've found it works *sometimes* if I hold my breath, but that's clearly not something I can do for the entire process. Any suggestions?
