The National Institutes of Health conducts a lot of research on cancer treatments and other diseases. Other sources of cutting-edge research are Sloan-Kettering in New York and MD Anderson in Houston. The Midwest has the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic.

Any type of carcinoma is serious, and a second opinion on both diagnosis and plan of treatment is helpful. Perhaps your wife’s doctors will be willing yo help you get an appointment as soon as possible.

Wishing you and your wife the best.
