Prostate cancer [View all]

I’m 63, decent shape, waited a month and a half to get a biopsy. Got my biopsy last Thursday. He calls me
yesterday and tells me my Gleason is 3+3. lower level cancer, office will make an appointment to discuss my options, One year ago my PSA level was 3.2. It’s 5.6 now. He said it didn’t change after the biopsy. His office called me today to schedule the follow up April 20th. Are you freaking kidding me? Told them I’m coming in to get all paperwork, images and scans and getting a second opinion. My primary care doctor told me that he could refer me to mayo clinic an hour away in Phoenix. I’m on limited income. Am I over reacting?
