4. Congratulations! I didn't know they still made marks on the patient.

My treatment was different, I guess because they needed to bombard my eye. They molded a mask of my face and made all the marks on the mask. Then each day when I showed up (two days of prep and 17 days of zapping), they fitted the mask to my face and used that to guide the radiation.

There were no marks on me at all, which is my excuse for not creating any cool artwork. That, and a total lack of talent.

About Sadako Sasaki, the Hiroshima girl, have you ever heard Fred Small's song about her, "Cranes over Hiroshima"?
