When I signed up for Medigap, I was quoted several hundred per month for the highest level plan.

Council on Aging folks found me the identical policy for $135/month!

One thing to know is that with gap policies, all policies in each category must offer identical benefits for that category.

I got mine through the Farm Bureau because it was hundreds cheaper for identical coverage. The premium goes up about $10 every year on or just before my birthday and I have to buy an annual membership to the Farm Bureau for $36, but it's still an absoloute bargain!
