Same happened in Memphis during COVID when the Health Dept., one of only 6 in this red shithole, attempted to protect the public by recommending vaxes, masking, & social distancing.

Red lawmakers threatened to revoke Health Dept.'s authority.

So they even stopped reporting COVID case counts to appease the nazis.
