While I can't speak for the domestic violence angle with any reliability or at-hand knowledge, my ex-fiancee was a bra specialist at Victoria's Secret. She often remarked that one of the worst things a woman can do in regards to her breasts and overall feeling of wellness regarding them would be to wear an ill-fitting bra.
