2. Since I was an adolescent in the 1960's I've wondered why it shouldn't be a simple matter...

of equality. If a male can wear a polo shirt and pants to school, why can't a female? If a female can wear a skirt to school, why can't a male? At the beginning of the school year in Texas it is HOT, and I envied young women their cooler apparel. If we couldn't wear skirts to beet the heat, why not shorts? Same with hair. Why could girls have long hair but not guys? To me, it demonstrated nothing less than a lie of equality, and arbitrary hypocrisy. Little has changed in 60+ years, especially in Texas.
