I'm guessing that the German Jews who voted for Hitler liked his "Make Germany Great Again" speeches and brushed off his antisemitism as unfortunate but not really that important. Their mistake might have been understandable, given how ubiquitous antisemitism was in Europe then, but we in the 21st century have received a very harsh lesson from history that they didn't have.
