Shutting down our intelligence sharing to Ukraine was like asking a chess player to call his next move while you have blocked his vision of the board during his opponent's last move and won't let him look. Playing blind in chess or war is not a recipe for victory. I suspect UK and France may have shared what intel they could while the US went on hiatus but they do not have the amount and quality of US intel systems and resources. And going forward, if Trump keeps "negotiating" with Russia directly and allows no meaningful input from Ukraine, their strategic skills may essentially be neutered by stupid American hubris to just "make a deal" with no regard for Ukraine or greater Europe's long term interests.
