and I found the overall take therein to be an outlier - at odds with a whole lot of other analysis made in assessing a fairly grim picture.

The 30% figure refers to very early gains made by Russian in the initial stages of conflict/incursion. So - no I am not naming anyone else a liar. What I am stating is simply that it is (quite) old news. And rather misleading in relation to how the conflict is playing out in real time. (i.e. today)
