Reflexively have serious concerns whenever a socialist country wins. Especially Venezuela because of their oil and wealth. They want the wealth in the hands of "free" market capitalist, not helping the poor.

Venezuela has seen sweeping and radical shifts in social policy, moving away from the last government's free-market economy and neo liberal reform principles and towards income equality and social welfare programs.

So yeah, most the corporate media have bad mouthed Venezuela ever since the move to socialism. And some Dems can be manipulated into agreeing.

It's hard to research too because there is so much money behind the corporate medias demonization of Venezuela. Most the news only repeat what the opposition says and hates the elected government.
