If so, they need to let Zelensky win it.

Most US military analysts do not believe Putin is stupid enough to go nuclear.

And Putin's ally China is very much against the use of nukes.
Xi of course has no moral issue with nukes, it is just pragmatic.
His economy is in trouble and nukes flying around the world will not help him
sell the stuff China makes.
