By the way, the diabetic cat always preferred dry kibble to canned cat food until he was diagnosed, at which time I had to switch him away from the grain-heavy regular brands. He learned to enjoy the better cat food in about a week. He looked miserable during the diet change, like I'd taken his favorite junk food away.
