1. Disagree that historic preservation should be only to protect

community assets. And, yes, I live in a historic district and have spent 20 years and mucho money on my home. Already only businesses get tax breaks for restoration efforts. Those tax breaks went away with Reagan for homeowners trying to preserve historic buildings.
