11. It is more difficult to build only nuclear plants to save us than to extract enough copper.

If you are an environmentalist of the type who believes we should do everything in our power to protect wilderness then you should support a strategy of all of the above to reduce global warming, which is destroying more wilderness via wildfires, etc. than the loss from copper mining.

Advocating for exclusive use of nuclear energy is absurd because it will not happen, and the reason has very little to do with “anti-nukes” and everything to do with the economic challenge of building nuclear plants, which is considerably larger than the challenge of extracting enough copper.
