China's overall energy needs are growing. That is why they are building all kinds of new energy plants, including coal but investing heavily in solar & wind farms and even fission reactors. China appears to be committed to a transition to clean energy. Meanwhile, in the US, the current administration is at war with renewable energy, making some effort on nuclear energy driven in part by the need shore up a declining nuclear industry that supports "defense" (war) needs, while promoting fossil fuels like there's no tomorrow. Are you aligned with that?

Pessimistic naysaying against innovative development of hydrogen fueled engines, etc. and renewable energy itself isn't very helpful; it's defeatist. Is that the point?
