2. It's about time. It's insane to be growing alfalfa in the desert. It uses tons of water and can be grown in other areas

with high water tables with little or no irrigation. Not only that but, in the southwest, it's mostly foreign countries like the Saudies growing it and shipping it home for their cattle herds. This is going on all over the southwest where rich oil countries have bought up land including southern California.
